Preparations!

We haven't received confirmation or updates yet, but are making preparations anyway. Last night, I went shopping with a friend for kid's stuff. Me! Buying kid's stuff! Not even for gifts. This kid's stuff is going in our house. Surreal! Since we do not know if these specific children will be joining our family, I tried to limit myself to things that little visitors (nephews, nieces, friends' children) could enjoy.

Kid purchases: puzzle, train, blocks, bib, bowls, plates, spoons, and sippy cups.

Due to a minor snowstorm, my husband and I both have the day off today. We are taking the opportunity to prepare a bedroom for kids. A kids' room. In our house. What?!?!? Again, we are trying to remember that it may not be used for these kids, but will hopefully be used by foster kids at some point in the future. In spite of the uncertainty, the room transformation is exciting.

This cube organizer will act as a dual nightstand, toy box, bookshelf.

We plan to pick up at least one bed tonight and hang curtains. This room should be ready in no time! AHHHH!
